The Temple of Beatlism
One of the more eclectic churches that the Warped site has explored is the 24 Hour Church of Elvis. Today we look at another church that takes it’s beliefs from another power of the rock era. Standby for the services to begin.
The site is called The Temple of Beatlism. AS you may have guessed, it is about life based on the beliefs on the Beatles, John, George, Paul, and Ringo.
The basic concept of Beatlism is this: inside of everyone, there are four Beatles. These Beatles are constantly interacting with one another to form your self: your spiritual, emotional, mental core. At different times and in different people, individual Beatles can gain predominance, and thus control of the self (i.e. you may be in a stage of “RINGO” or experience a “PAUL” phase). The goal of life is to reach a balance of the inner Beatles. Known in some circles simply as “the upper John”, this state realizes the ultimate coordination where the sum of the individual Beatles overcomes its parts. There is also the force of Yoko, and the force of George Martin to contend with. Each has it’s own traits, strengths, and weaknesses.
The concepts here are quite revealing, especially about one’s innerself. The Warp-o-Meter has converted, and gives this site a 9.0 rating. All you need is love.
