You’ve heard the saying that you don’t have to be crazy to work here, but it helps. Well, today’s Warped website is one that shows just how sane people can go crazy if they work where these folks do. It is something that at one time or another we have all experienced.
The site is called TechTales. Here you will find the funniest tech support stories to come from the Internet. The folks telling these stories are the ones that are in the trenches. These are the people that you talk to when you call to find out why your computer or iPod or printer or PDA does not work the way you think it should. Manual? We don’t need no stinkin’ manual? They have heard it all, and share it with you. Among their stories:
1) How NOT to scan a photo,
2) the Son of God???
3) Buy a computer that works,
4) SHIFTless users.
There are some great stories here, all allegedly true. The Warp-o-Meter gives this site a 7.5. The sheer volume of ignorance here by users is incredible. My guess is that we have several future candidates for the Darwin Awards on this site. Can you find them?
