Jump the Shark
This site is not a nature oriented site, no matter what the title says. It is actually entertainment oriented, one that bring back nostalgia, and educate visitors on what to watch for on current television programs.
The site is called Jump The Shark. That title represents a moment in time. It is a term used to define that moment when your favorite television program has reached its peak. It is that instant when you that from that moment on, it is all down hill, and cancellation is just around the corner (or it should be).
Some of the examples that are given are:
Bonanza: when Adam (Pernell Roberts) left the show;
The Cosby Show: when new kids (Olivia and Pam) joined the show;
All In The Family: when Gloria and the Meathead moved to California;
The Brady Bunch: when cousin Oliver joined the show.
These are all voted on by visitors, so the results can vary. There is a trivia contest called Stump the Shark, where you can both answer questions as well as submit them. The Warp-o-Meter gives this site a 7.5 rating, even though two of the links (Chum and Bait Shop) were not working.
