Atheists For Jesus
There are two sides to every story. For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. Big or little, tall or small, the Lord God made them all. Just a few sayings that we have grown up with, and remind us of the way life used to be. Today’s Warped site is one that put an interesting twist on a most interesting subject.
The site is called Atheists For Jesus. Now at first, that might almost seem like a contradiction. But as you explore the website, you realize it really isn’t. For many years, the stated purpose of this site has been to promote a dialog between religious and non-religious people who share a common vision of Jesus as an individual of tremendous compassion; a true advocate of “Peace on Earth”; and a staunch supporter of the poor and suffering people who are all too often ignored by prosperous societies. The site explores the various “theories” about what religion is and how it has evolved over the years.
The site asks some good questions, and has some excellent answers. But it doesn’t have all of them. That is why the Warp-o-Meter gives this site a 7.0 rating.
